It's the only Minigun mod that spreads stun over multiple targets, taking improved Stun over armor breaking or extra penetration is a very viable option. You can strip a the armor off a bigger enemy while dealing AoE damage and AoE stuns to all the smaller bugs around it. It's not like using this mod will give you bad ammo economy, it's actually pretty good overall. It's perfect for a run and gun play style, you only lose a couple damage per shot compared to base stats but in return you're getting a ton of bonus damage from ricochet and setting everything on fire in the meantime, while spreading those sweet stuns around evenly.
I build with increased accuracy, increased damage, armor breaking, increased damage at full spinup, fire damage at higher heat.
Maybe on paper it doesn't deal as much damage as other mods but that's not what I'm going for when I choose to use it. It's really not that bad bro, I use to for solo Haz5 and EDD. It is strictly a bad Overclock.īullet Hell can be used for fun, but its a weak and outclassed Overclock, it should not be recommended.
Bullet Hell is less accurate whilst being inferior in damage output to Exhaust Vectoring.
Especially cause with the Minigun you should be aiming for weakspot hits anyway. Meanwhile your weapon will be LESS accurate and outclassed in every other possible Scenario. *Weakspot Hits refer to hitting the first target you aim at in the weakspotĪs you can see, the only time Bullet ever does ANYTHING is when you fire Exhaust Vectoring at a non-weakspot on a bug and there is 2 Bugs next to each other. (Unless for fun)ģ Bugs (landing Blowthrough hits+Weakspot x2) And for that you have Bulldog Explosive rounds.īullet Hell is in EVERY POSSIBLE WAY a shittier version of Exhaust Vectoring.
Its inherently garbage in every way except for swarmer killing. It generally fantastic at everything outside of killing bigger enemies Bullet hell for AOE/ CC, Lead storm for raw damage, Burning hell for more raw damage/ AOE, and compact feed for just a CC wall of constant shooting and stunning.Īnd if you do not plan on taking an AOE load out for the minigun you almost always need to take fire grenades, as a single swarmer pile will just make you rip through ammo, but thats still just choice. Il say though at a minimum you need at least one of 4 overclocks to use the mini on haz5 and it be reasonable compared to the autocannon. I also just like setting things on fire so there's that. The difficulty of this build comes from heat management as you can burn out extremely fast if you don't pay attention, and you cannot target the same things as a cryo driller or you both just lose ammo efficiency, but the upside is when properly managed you can maintain a fairly good balance between CC, single target damage, and multi target damage. I then use the increased stun time mod which allows me to essentially use the gun like a flamethrower and just CC things, and hot bullets so I can burn large threats like spitballers from a distance and usually kill them with a bulldog clip or less. The main weakness of minigun in high haz is the fact there are a lot more bugs you need to shoot, so it falls behind the autocannon really easily as the AOE is so good, so you need to find a way to make up for it.īurning hell allows me to do a fair bit of damage as things start to get close, and you pretty much instantly kill swarmers without even aiming at them, and unlike bullet hell you still maintain a fairly reasonable base damage on the main bullets. I use the burning hell overclock + bulldog with volatile bullets
